Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project - LO HO Life III

Key components:
  • Train AFC ambassadors on healthy body-mind-spirit for the elderly, home safety, gerontechnology, etc.
  • Arrange the AFC Ambassadors trained under Phase I and Phase II programmes to lead the new joiners to promote age-friendly messages to the community.
  • Conduct home visits to singleton and doubleton elderly and assess the home safety and their communication with other people.
  • Launch the smart phone recycling and donation scheme by AFC Ambassadors to collect damaged and old models of smart phones in the district, and donate to the elderly in need after repairing, and also provide one-on-one training to the elderly on using smart phones and communication applications.
  • Set up street booths and exhibitions to disseminate the information of age-friendly city and gerontechnology.
