Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project-Smart Healthy Exercise Programme

Key components:
  • Organise workshops to provide trainings to elderly service unit instructors and elderly volunteers on Smart Healthy Exercise and coaching skills, and produce discs with the teaching materials for distribution to service units.
  • Conduct Smart Healthy Exercise classes at elderly centres by instructors and elderly volunteers upon completion of training, and also promote the Smart Healthy Exercise to students in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, encouraging them to do exercise with family members and grandparents at home.
  • Organise an activity day to share the tips of elderly exercise and demonstrate the Smart Healthy Exercise and other exercises suitable for elderly people.
